Medical emergencies training for GP surgeries and dental practices
Simucare delivers CPD-certified medical emergencies and basic life support training on site, in your own practice, using manikins, a defibrillator and the equipment you actually keep in your emergency kit.
What is included
- Half-day, scenario-based session for the whole team — clinicians, nurses and reception staff
- Recognition and management of the medical emergencies most likely in primary and dental care: anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest, choking, hypoglycaemia, seizures, asthma and syncope
- Hands-on CPR and AED practice, airway management and use of your own emergency drugs and oxygen
- GDC-compliant CPD certificates for every attendee, emailed automatically after the session
- A practical check of your emergency kit and defibrillator consumables
Who delivers it
Training is led by John Barber, an NHS clinician who has taught medical emergencies to hundreds of GP and dental staff across Northern Ireland and the UK.
