Medical devices, simulation and first aid equipment — from the people who teach it
Simucare was founded in 2024 by John Barber, an NHS clinician who has spent over a decade teaching medical emergencies to GPs, dentists and their teams across Northern Ireland and the UK.
We started by running hands-on simulation training in practices — and kept being asked "where do we buy the kit?" Simucare.com is the answer: the defibrillator consumables, airway equipment and training products we actually use, supplied by a team that knows how they are used in a real emergency.
We are based in Aldergrove, Co. Antrim, a member of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, and developing our own respiratory safety device, LightSaver.
What we do
- Supply — defibrillator pads and batteries, first aid and airway equipment, pulse oximeters and simulation products, delivered across the UK.
- Train — CPD-certified medical emergencies and basic life support training delivered in GP surgeries and dental practices.
- Advise — practical, clinician-led advice on what your practice actually needs to be emergency-ready.
